24 Enlightening Prayers for Flying for Safe Travel

Prayers for Flying
Written by Joseph Crescent

Although I am not a religious person, I do believe in the power of prayers for flying. I have always found comfort in prayer, especially when flying. Whenever I am on a plane, I always say a quick prayer for safety. I have been doing this ever since my first flight as a child. Even though planes sometimes crash, my faith allows me to believe that those who die are with God. Saying a prayer before takeoff never fails to make me feel better, and it’s become something of a tradition for me. I invite you to try saying a prayer before your next flight- whether you’re religious or not- to see if it makes you feel better too!

5 Things to Do Before Prayers for Flying

So, you’re about to fly for the first time and you want to make sure you do everything right. Praying is an important part of many people’s lives, and it can be especially helpful when flying. Here are five things to do before you say your prayers for flying:

  1. Get organized: Make sure you have everything you need before you start praying. This includes your boarding pass, ID, and any other essential documents.
  2. Find a quiet spot: It’s important to find a place where you won’t be interrupted while you’re praying. This could be in your seat, in the airport lounge, or even in the bathroom.
  3. Focus on your breath: Take a few deep breaths and focus on your breathing. This will help you to relax and clear your mind.
  4. Say your prayers: Now is the time to say your prayers for flying. You can say them out loud or quietly to yourself, whichever feels best for you.
  5. Give thanks: Once you’ve said your prayers, take a moment to give thanks. This could be for things like the safe journey ahead or for the wonderful opportunity to travel.
